Hi all. I'm a supporter of a canidate for Bill Frist's seat named Rosland Kurita. I listened to an interview she did on a local show talking about various issues. When it came to Iraq and the DSM she just ignored the question and talked about how she supports the troops and the flag doesn't belong to one political party and all that. The host asked her if she was for investigating the DSM and she said "no" and her reasoning was because it would make the soliders look bad during their battles (like they don't already?) and it doesn't matter if Bush lied or not because we're there now etc. While listening to her interview I agreed with everything she said except with Iraq and Israel. She is for keeping our involvement in the UN (it's about communication and being a team player), she will vote no on John Bolton (from what she's seen and heard he isn't a diplomat), she's against CAFTA and she is for independent energy. The next person running is Harold Ford junior. There are a lot of things I'm not that fond of with him (mainly some votes, example is he voted for having prayer in school while we're on the 'war on terror' and he's not for gay marriage or whatever you want to call it) but with him he is for an investigation of the DSM. So what would you do for 2006? Vote for someone you disagree with on almost everything on the home front but not Iraq or vote for someone who you agree with on everything on the home front but Iraq?? If you want to hear her interview you can at:
