How to deal with mass emails from right wing nutzoids!

I am amazed at how many of these people leave the TO: headers intact, giving you access to hundreds of email addresses.

I like to use Reply to All and cut-n-paste the other headers into the Reply list, that way I can reach everybody the wingnut has including all those reached by the other forwarding emails.

My reply usually goes like this:

Hi, you don't know me but your private email address was forwarded to me by __________ in his/her most recent rant. This nice person just spread your personal or business email address to the entire Internet. Isn't that special.

Just think, here I am a total stranger filling your in-box with yet another useless email! Ever wonder how many spammers also got your address?

May I suggest that you use the Block feature in your email application to prevent this person from doing this in the future?

4. Yeah, this is a spin off of that discussion. I've been dealing

with the Republican machine in creative ways for a long time.

I send a $5.00 donation to every Republican group that snail mails me. I get on their mailing lists which costs them way more than $5.00 a year! $5.00 will buy you 2-3 years of mailings. Then, I use every envelope to send them pizza coupons or even better NARL literature. That doubles the cost to them and it gives me a certain sense of satisfaction picturing some poor volunteer true believer opening the mail!

I got an e-mail just the other day where (according to the e-mail) an "Iraqi woman in a burka" was chastising a grocery clerk for wearing a USA flag pen that supported bombing her country and a US soldier (in full dress no doubt) happened to be in line so another patriotic "veteran" could proudly put his arm around the soldier and say "This guy fights so you can disdain our government!"

Now, ignoring the fact that a woman in a burka would not usually be so verbally aggressive and the idea that we are fighting AGAINST the iraq (remember, we are on their side), what is a military guy doing on vacation in his uniform?

But I digress. . .great advice!

5. Snopes goes without saying. I just take it one step farther and

try to shut down the mailing list.

I am convinced that most of those emails are generated at RNC headquarters and sent to useful idiots who forward them to unsuspecting and many times unappreciative friends.
