Construction workers obstruct building of Abortion Clinic
http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=34748

A bunch of building contractors in Austin Texas have joined together to try and make it nearly impossible for a Planned Parenthood Clinic to be built in the city. Check out the quote below.

"We're going to do everything we can to stop it, slow it down and make it more expensive," said Chris Danze, an Austin concrete contractor, according to the AP.

25. Hey...we've played fair for how many years now?
And where has it got us - Republican President, Republican Congress, Republican Supreme Court.

They play dirty - - if we expect to survive we have to throw rocks back.

Now nothinig I'm suggesting is illegal - we have a right to call that number and leave long, meandering messages that DO NOT threaten them (this is where we differ from the Freepers)

16. Good catch
Also makes you wonder "what other" things they've done in the past.

Substandard concrete delivered to lower class neighborhoods?

Collusion on contract bids?

7. There's a difference
Construction WORKERS and contractors ain't the same thing, one is the employee and the other is the employer. This action is by the employers. By the way, most construction in Texas is non-union, these sons of bitches in question no doubt hate unions much more than they hate abortions.

8. Yet, they have no problem
creating urban sprawl, destroying the environment and communities, contributing to the fattening of America and just overall creating an environment where support systems for unplanned preganancies (such as extened family assistance) are all but extinct.

Self-rightous pigs.

Reminds me of the doctor in my home town who has had numerous affairs but feels like he is justified in labeling homosexuals as sinners.

and has been used against us.

What they can be done for, I bet, is a tort such as intentional interference with a business relationship.

14. So basically these people are Un-American
I have done some contracting in the past, and we bid on a great number of jobs. Some we got, others we didn't. If these contractors don't want to submit a bid on this structure, they don't have to. But it is Un-American to prevent others from making a living. If I were still in the business, I'd very seriously consider bidding on that job, although we were a small operation. It will create jobs for construction workers. So i reiterate, these contractors must be Un-American if they want to deny people a chance to make some money and feed their families.

17. Grandstanding

Danze, chairman of the Austin Area Pro-Life Concrete Contractors and Suppliers Association, said every concrete supplier within 60 miles of Austin is on board with the boycott.

A pro-life concrete supply association? :dunce: I seriously doubt every concrete supplier will pass up a sale like this, especially since construction has stalled. Fuckin drama queens.
