1. Very interesting

Joesph Farah of WorldNetDaily tried to scare his readers on Clark by citing how Hackworth called him a "perfumed Prince". Guess you can throw that out the window. Farah's other big scare was that Clark, GASP!, supports gay marriage. If that's all they got, I have to laugh.

8. Right wing press led me...
I found this article while cruising around on some right-wing sites that were really smearing Gen. Clark. I became a bit worried after reading all of their material (that is what effective propaganda does...right??). One of the sites had Hackworth's "prefume prince" comment from a few years back. This comment made me a bit worried as I always toke Hackworth to be a rather straight shooter. Further down on the web page, in smaller font, they had a link to this article and they acknowledged that Hackworth may have changed his mind. I clicked on it and I was relieved to find what I found.

2. Glowing
I knew Hackworth would support Clark, especially now that Bush sucks beyond Hackworth's wildest dreams.

4. NICE
but my advice would be keep the IKE references to a minimum....I have already heard them all over the place Kosovo is not World War II and a three star general who was fired by the DOD is not one of the only 5 star generals in the history of America helping to lead us through to a World War II victory....

other than that.CLARK ON!!!

5. While I don't agree with everything that Hack puts out there...
I don't think it's ever possible to deny the fact that he's a straight shooter. In an age of endless posturing on the right and left, it is refreshing to see someone who actually can (GASP!) admit when he was wrong, and correct his mistake.

I've admired Col. Hackworth's 'straight shooting', even if I don't always agree with everything he says. This article does a LOT to reassure me about General Clark.

thanks for posting it! :)

9. Great to have my admiration for Clark affirmed
I've listened to his welcome comments about how he wants to change the direction Bush has taken your country...I was so happy to hear him say a while back that he regrets how Bush has alienated other countries and their leaders...As a citizen of one of the alienated countries (Canada), that was music to my ears...How welcome it would be to again have a brilliant mind in the White House (like Clinton was), who sees the world as a whole and not just the skewed picture Bush and his buddies have....Who ever you eventually elect, outside of Bush, will be a vast improvement and our countries can be friends again..... :pals:
