Draft George Bush.
If the so-and-so thinks Iraq is important enough to shed blood over, let him stand in the front ranks.

Instead of serving up some plastic turkey safe in the Green Zone airport, he can ride in a Hummer on patrol.

Or ride in a nice helicopter. He doesn't have to fly into a combat zone or do anything dangerous.

He can just go and evac the wounded, say.

Hmm. Maybe not.

A person possessed of such high self-esteem
deserves a more noble posting,
perhaps as an Honor Guard or Captain of the Honor Guard
or -- or -- Commander in Chief of the Honor Guard.

Personally. I believe service as an M.P. would suit him.

He does think like a 1939 Berlin policeman.

Well. The important thing is George Walker Bush actually do what a leader does. Lead. Which is his problem.

Sadly, Bush will never be more than a smirking cheerleader.

And what his speech tonight concerned: "Iraq is important, America."

Of course, the sub-text was "Keeping Congress and the American public focused on Iraq is important to keep me from getting my pimply ass thrown in jail and charged with treason."

PS to all the armchair generals: Yes. I know he already's the commandeer-in-thief.
