BBC World whoring it up on Bushy's speech

I was about to switch off, when they broke to another story and said The US Senate has passed a energy Bill that gives tax breaks to Oil compaines.

They didnt say it was a brillant speech , and they did say the lack of a time table was a concern, the reporter is also going to have a meeting with local repugs to ask them.

And although I didn't hear this report, I have a theory. BBC takes all politics *seriously,* and unlike the American MSM whores, they give a thorough and respectful exegesis of political discourse on all sides. To American ears, accustomed to the carnival atmosphere of the infotainment cable news networks and the smarmily personalistic broadcast networks, the respect itself sounds ennobling of its object. I promise you BBC would respectfully itemize (and probabloy did) Hitler's primary demands for British surrender during the Battle of London.

And the killer thing is that when politics is potrayed as serious rather than entertaining business, mutually assured respect makes it much simpler to listen for the truth, or the lie. Substance. It's a hell of a note.
