Can Bush do anything right?

After all his big time fuck ups you can add last night's speech to the list. There was Bush with every TV network covering his "message" and he finally had a chance to assure the American people that he knows the realities of the war and that things will not be easy. And just like that he fucks it up. Instead of talking about how hard things there are, how he made some (using "some" lightly here) mistakes, and how long he thinks it will take before the American troops will come home. Instead he used his entire speech to tie in Saddam with 9/11; something the Republicans claimed he never did before the war. Now this comparission has been covered on every network and every American saw what a lying asshole Bush is (we'll see how many actually accept it). I smell approval ratings once again going down so expect a terror alert really soon.

taxcuts for the mega-rich
no-bid contracts for KBR etc
US control of Iraq's oilfields
perpetual chaos there
permanant bases
