(Repuke) Lawmaker's Wayward E-Mail Refers To Constituents As 'Idiots'
Edited on Wed Jun-29-05 12:20 PM by Shoeempress
Assemblyman Willis Stephens says he thought he was sending the e-mail to an aide. Instead, he sent the note to nearly 300 people on an online discussion group that focuses on the community of Brewster.

The message included the comment that he was "just watching the idiots pontificate."

Gotta love when Repukes shoot themselves in the foot.

2. Takes one to know one !
Really, how difficult is e-mail, hmmmm ? Many idiots have mastered it, yet assemblyman willis seems to have a hard time with it.

I have met many elected officials over the years, and I'm always shocked at how stupid some of them are.

4. Serious campaign ammo here if he's running again...
"Within an hour of sending the message Monday morning, Stephens sent another e-mail apologizing for the slip-up."

He apologized, but for what? Is he sorry that he made the comment? Or just sorry that he got caught?

7. As if apologizing will make up for the fact that he DID mean to say it
to one of his aides. No way to spin that, really. Oh, well, there go 300 votes, if not more...
