And the richest part of it is that Kerry also put forth these plans throughout the campaign and during the debates last year, which the media FAILED TO REPORT OR DISCUSS in favor of the Rove-approved storyline that Democrats complain about Bush but have no plan of their own.

If your neighbor proposed dealing with a crime problem by suggesting that the city simply burn your neighborhood to the ground, it's entirely reasonable to say, "That plan sucks." There's no room for your neighbor to retort with, "Well, if you can't come up with a better plan..."
