Protest Songs
During the Vietnam War their were many what you could call great protest songs. They were great in the sense that they talked about the war and pointed how rich kids were not fighting in the wars. Why do the artists of today not make songs like those of the Vietnam era? Are they scared that in this time they will greatly critized?

1. How do we know they aren't?
It could be that KKKarl even thought about that angle and has managed to suppress the music industry as well.
If you don't write patriotic songs they will not get produced.

3. Implying What?
Are you implying that they are scared to write the protest songs because they think something bad might happen to their planes?

5. He's talking about
Cat Stevens and his daughter being pulled off a plane because they're on a 'no fly' list. Disagree with this administration and you can get your name on that list, too.

6. There are a lot of great protest songs today.
A lot of them are available for free download on the Net. I've filled a couple of dozen CDs with them. The thing is, they don't get played on commercial radio.
