1. No, not regarding policy, but he can certainly change the world....
...he is being driven insane enough to let the nuclear genie out and destroy everything we know.

4. And then they would blame it on Liberals and some brown people
who pray differently than Falwell.

8. Maybe I wasn't clear, the RW shadow government is driving Bush....
...to commit such an act out of total megalomania and insanity. Bush would love nothing better than to give the order and watch the results by satellite broadcast from his bunker.

3. If you are trying to imply he doesn't have responsibility because of the
PNACers, you are wrong. He has the ULTIMATE responsibility for all of this. He could sack all the PNACers. He either agrees with the policy or he finds them useful to him.

This wicked war got him reelected.

6. If I had the power to do that (put shrub in Iraq), I would.
We haven't even had the power to get him out of the WH.

He is changing the minds of many republicans who are now considering him a loon and finally coming to our side.

He has changed how safe we are. After several years of the war on terror, the CIA has officially come out and said we are LESS safe.

He has changed Al Queda. They used to be a small organization but he has changed how they do business. They now have to beat off recruits.

He has changed the world's perception of our once great country. Now they see our leader as a war criminal who sanctions torture.

And sadly he has changed the lives of too many families.

These are families who proudly saw their children off to war only to watch them come back in a coffin.

These are the families who were minding their own business over in Iraq only to be illegally occupied by the US.

These are the women who had more rights than any Arab country and now who have their rights set back by decades.

These are the people whose family members are dragged off because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time. They were never seen again and the Red Cross can not locate them.

He has changed the family life of those who lose their houses due to the economy.

He has changed the way the US citizens see their own country. He has changed the free media. He has changed freedom of speech when we must sign loyalty oaths and we get arrested for wearing the wrong shirt at one of his 'public' speeches.

He has changed my family's life due to the fact that we can not afford health insurance and I pray everyday that we do not get sick.

He has changed many things but, unfortunately, it has not been for the better.

10. Sadly we know these things (most of us)
My point is more or less he just wanted to drive the car. PNAC told him where to go.

11. I know, I am kind of depressed....
I had just finished watching a 60 Minutes episode about small owns and how their casualty rate is higher for the illegal occupation than in the big cities. I know it is silly but I was crying for these poor people. These small towns have no room for any economic growth so even though they know they may be killed, some folks are still signing up from these towns.

The segment showed how, when one dead soldier returned home, people started lining up at the airport around 7 PM even though the soldier was not to arrive until 12 midnight. They said that even though 12 midnight was late, they had a 100 car processional behind the hearse! It was so sad. All I could think about was how * had changed these people forever and then I came here to see your post. I guess I kind of vented. I hate that excuse for a human being.
