Crazy-but-it-just-might-work: How to USE the next Capitol Evacuation
Next time they evacuate the Capitol, all Democratic legislators need to, instead of evacuating, RUSH to their chambers, convene the body, and vote on an omnibus bill prepared in advance to screw the GOP.

3. Could they do that and make it stick?
...I think that would be great, unless of course that's what the rethugs want to have happen and they imploid the Capital offices just like what happened to the WTC and WTC7 on 9-11!

6. They could try!
And it would be SUCH a gutsy move that it would captivate the American spirit of rebellion.

5. Oh, yes. Good thinking. Now if they only had the guts.

Which I doubt.

Would be cool if they did, though.

7. You can't convene either body without the leadership

No one in the minority could preside over either house.

Just one Republican could object to unanimous consent and force a quorum call.

Fun idea though.

8. But no Republicans would be there!
They would all be outside quaking in their boots.

9. You would need someone from the majority to preside
And presumably they'd be too scared from terra' to come back in.
