Fly the colors on the Fourth, BUT DON'T LET * TAKE CREDIT!!!

Someone sent this to me and I think it's a great idea. Please keep this kicked and spread it far and wide if you agree......

Once again President Bush appears to think the only patriotic Americans are republicans who support his war agenda. How dare he try to take away the pleasure of flying our flag on a national holiday. In a sound bite from the other night's speech, he stated that flying the flag this July 4th will not only be patriotic but also show support for his war efforts.

I will be proudly flying the flag this July 4th, but I will be tying a white ribbon (symbolizing the peace dove) to the flag pole showing I support our troops but not the war!

Wouldn't it be wonderful if everyone opposed to the war flew their flags but with the "peace ribbon"?

my pleasure in flying tha flag when he decided that the Geneva Conventions didn't apply to us. I will not fly the flag until I can be proud to do so - when we stop committing war crimes.

Thanks for posting that. That was a great post. I'm so glad to see that there are people here that are not willing to give up our flag so easily. I truly believe that if most of America knew the truth and the magnitude of all the lies, the overwhelming majority would run *'s ass out of our White House. The whole bunch of them are lying traitors and once the sleeping giant awakens, woe be unto them.

Meanwhile, we need to claim our flag and proudly fly it on the Fourth. It does indeed stand for a lot more than just the aftermath of 9/11.
