My DSM LTTE was published - using form letter from PDA

Unfortunately, I do not have a link, as their website is limited... but, It is in the Wednesday afternoon paper called the Manchester Journal Inquirer (of Manchester, CT - not NH or England)

I had sent over a ready made LTTE from PDA, I think. They even put in the website of afterdowningstreet.org in the letter.

This is a pretty widely read paper in eastern Connecticut - and, it's known to be very conservative as well.

4. Do use some caution in using "ready-made" LTTEs. Newspapers

usually ask if it's your original work before they publish it. Be truthful or you may get banned from the paper.

You can look at the "talking points" in the ready-made one to develop your own, but it's always best if you write about points that are important to you and write in your own "voice".

We had such problems with "astro-turf" LTTEs from the GOP propaganda machine here last year, that we raised a fuss with our newspaper (Knoxville News Sentinel) and they wrote a new editorial policy. If someone is found to have lied about their letter being original, they are banned from future submissions to the newspaper.
