During the election, I would drop this line on pro-Bush acquaintances at moments when we weren't engaged in debate:

"Quick. Your life is in trouble, you need help, and someone is going to have to risk his life to try and save you. Who do you choose? Kerry or Bush?"

They almost always refused to answer. You could see their wheels spinning and the answer surface they refused to say. A few will visibly change their answer to Bush, but most can see the answer is clear and refuse to voice it.

Try it. It still works to this day, though it now says more about W than anything else...
