Free Speech TV?
There are plans for a non-commercial tv news network called "International World Television" to debut in 2007.

Thread on IWT here:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=show_mesg&forum=104&topic_id=3989104&mesg_id=3989104

Anwyay, at the IWT blog, someone asked, "What will IWT do that Free Speech TV doesn't already do?"

http://www.iwtnews.com/node/948#comment

I've never seen "Free Speech TV."

If you've seen it, what do you think?

9. Yep, Democracy Now
and lots of public video as well as killer documentaries.

If you want to see "Orwell Rolls in His Grave", FSTV has exclusive broadcast rights.

They would love to have your donations, BTW.

10. From what I've seen, they have lots more
Edited on Thu Jun-30-05 05:41 PM by htuttle
There are other news shows, other news analysis shows, as well as shows about lots of other things, such as corporatism/consumerism, environmental isssues, gender and race issues, etc...

Check out their website for information on their lineup. You can get lots of their shows on DVD, etc... too.

7. I have the same question (thought I don't get FSTV anymore)
Also, we have Link TV (on both Dish and Direct TV) www.linktv.org - EXCELLENT channel (like it better than FSTV actually). Carries Democracy Now! as well as international news reports and fantastic documentaries.

8. I see a bit of it via our local Public Access channel
They show Democracy Now twice a day via FSTV uplink, and run FSTV shows all Saturday afternoon.

I wish I could get them all the time, but I rent so can't install a satellite dish. Very, very good stuff.

11. I also watched Naomi Klein today
on FSTV - on Keynote. They run some good speeches.

More international news could be good.
