Are Democrats trying to set Arnold up with this debate?

Do you think that Democrats are somehow planning to use Arnold's statements in the debate against him in the final week before the election?

Gray Davis promised a suprise ending to the campaign. Was he bluffing?

Arnold is bashing Arianna over her taxes, yet we know that Arnold didn't have proper business licenses and had possible other business related problems.

After the 2002 election, I don't put much faith in a secert Democratic plan, but the California Democrats seem to be pretty smart and tactical.

So far, it seems like Cruz is letting Arnold do most of the talking. Is there a Democratic plan here, or is this chaos?

The little "off the cuff" remarks I've heard, certainly don't impress me. Let's see how deep his understanding of California economic issues are...he might be his own worst enemy.

4. The idea of a debate is not new, but this one is special

Arnold was given the questions in advance, because he wouldn't debate otherwise. Democrats could have refused to go to this debate, in fact they talked about it, but they decided to support it.

Arnold's people made the rules for the debate, and Cruz seems to be letting Arnold run wild, for the most part.

If they don't have something planned, then why isn't Cruz putting Arnold in his place?

5. Sounds more like ARNOLD had a plan...and

it worked.

This morning on "D. Now," Amy Goodman allowed Alan Dershowitz to have most of the airtime, and she allowed him to continually interrupt the other guest. Guess who "won" that encounter? Right: Dershowitz --- even though he (Dershowitz) would have "lost" if Amy Goodman were an effective host (moderator).

The same thing is going to happen in California. If Davis is turned down, Schwartzenneger will win the election.

I can just picture Bustamante quietly smiling in the background while Ahhhnuld steals the show and makes an ass of himself. That's so typical of the GOP...give them enough rope and you see them hang themselves. :D
