But my dad is a city councillor up here...and he was at this huge conference of all city politicians in this Province...today they had a vote which failed by 85 per cent...the vote was something along the lines of, "do you want the USA to obtain fresh-water from your area under the NAFTA agreement?"


What reason was given by those that struck it down?.....they don't trust/like Bush. Way to go Bush your foreign policy rocks!

1. Correct me if I'm wrong, but...

I was under the impression that you were selling us lots of water, but got very antsy after one of our brilliant diplomats threatened you over selling us more, and privatising the whole thing.

Having 25% of the world's fresh water next door to a belligerant, thirsty neighbor would make anyone nervous.
