Bush and Peaches saved me a bunch of money!
Went to the car dealership yesterday. Buying the nicest car I've ever owned, real luxe model. Went through all stages of negotiations, got a reasonable price. Played the waiting game and went to the finance guy.

Still, I was not so sure I wasn't making an impulse purchase. I was torn as to whether I should take the car then or wait and cool off a bit. Well, the answer came to me quickly when I looked in the corner of his office and lo and behold, there was a calendar featuring Mr. and Mrs. Bush for July. I told them I'd be back "tomorrow."

I will be buying the car. But not there. (The thing is, I'll still probably be buying it from a Bush lover but at least it won't be a known Bush lover.)

1. Tell them why you bailed

Don't make them think you merely got cold feet. Let them know that the blatant politics in their workplace are bad for business. And don't tell the salesman -- tell the general manager.

3. Totally agree...

Voting with your dollars is one thing, but you have to let them know what (or why) you are taking your money across the street.

And to the OP, btw its not Peaches... its Pickles.

2. I would have said, "Oh, you like Bush, eh?"
I'd let him slobber his story and then I would have stood up and said, "I buy NOTHING from Bush supporters. I'll be buying from a different dealer. Buh Bye!" Maybe you should at least call him back and tell him WHY you won't be purchasing a car from him? It's only the right thing to do. :7 Those people need to know there's consequences for their behavior.

What pleasure that would be!

4. When they call to ask why you didn't show up, let them know why.

Dont' leave them hanging. It's okay being a Bush supporter but they shouldn't advertise it.

edit: is it pickles or peaches?

Seriously, seeing that picture was like having smelling salts put under my nose. And now that I've come to my senses and done some more research, I'm finding out the car has some nast transmission problems.

Thanks **! Thanks Pickles.

:hi:

6. Congrats.
I go so far as to stop at businesses that openly support BushCo and pretend I was going to give them my business until I saw their support of the warmonger.

good to let off steam and possibly open a mind.

You did well, young padiwan.
