11. I live in the US and my daughter is applying for a visa...
to live in England as soon as possible so they can get married. I tried to get through to him and can't, neither could my daughter.

4. Organized Confusion
That was one term I've heard used this morning.

This is a newsgathering nightmare. Cellphone networks are down. Reports are the internet is also bogged down as well. Traffic is deadlocked and many areas are totally closed off. It's going to take a couple hours to get a clear picture what's happening.

Whatever has happened, it's of a major proportion. The pictures here show of a city prepared for the worst...and what appears to be a very quick, professional responses.
