The Queen is returning to Buckingham Palace.
According to CNN.

She is not staying at the saftey of Balmoral reading to schoolchildren while the world waits with and us unaware where she is.

Hate to say it, but Monarchy does have a point.

Blair should get his ass home as well.

5. Oh, please!
She'll be flown in safety and surrounded by security. Buck House is probably the safest place for her to be: no such security for the rest of us Londoners. Let's not get sentimental about that parasite.

Georgie would have been safe in the WH on 9/11. He went to a bunker after flying all over the country.

Actions speak loudly in times like these, even if they are only ceremonial.

3. I guess this is one way to shut down the G8 meeting
they weren't getting anything accomplished anyway.

BTW: Where's George. Flying around in AF1?

4. Well, I'll say this for the Royals, they have shown leadership
during times of crisis-- Queen Elizabeth had quite the role model in her own Mom during the Blitzkrieg of WWII.

6. I'm certainly no monarchist but they did
remain in Bucks palace during the Blitz, visiting the East End damage some mornings pouring tea for the injured and homeless. Its part myth part truth but even to an anti-royalist like myself its quite comforting.
