23. Exactly.
We didn't go after bin Laden like * said. He wasn't "wanted DEAD or ALIVE." We haven't "smoked 'em out of thar caves."

I just wish the sheeple who went to the polls and put this gang of thugs back in out of fear of "tarrorists" could understand this one big point.

:banghead:

London, my heart is with you today. Truly a beautiful city. I have ties through ancestors there. Wherever they are, bless them. So sorry for your losses.

Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 06:08 AM by Dudley_DUright
for what ever that is worth (according to ABC news). Blair said terrorist attacks, but did not say Al Qaeda.

13. Been watching BBC all morning.
"Almost certainly" does not mean "certainly".

One guy has been on saying that the attacks actually don't seem like Al Qaeda - they appear designed to paralyse the metro system rather than to cause maximum amounts of death and injury. He did receive the report, as he was saying this, about the website claiming responsibility for Al Qaeda, but was quick to say that it hadn't been verified and that many groups claim responsibility when something like this happens.

Maybe everybody's jumping to conclusions too soon. The police guy said they'd had some warning - Al Quada don't warn.
