I have to quit my job if it goes up to $2.50. They are not paying enough for me to get there.

in my hometown. Fortunately, I noticed the jump at some stations and filled up at a station who hadn't got the word on my lunch break yesterday. By the time I went home, the station had raised it's prices by 20 cents.

A world wide recession, just like after 911 would drive the price way way down. Of course this one doesn't effect world financial centers like the WTC did.

to $2.36 - yesterday afternoon. Lucky for me (truly, from the way my luck has been going lately), I got it for the cheaper price. People were in lines .......... long lines, waiting to get the cheaper gas.
