CNN: "No plans for bush to leave summit early"
Also reporting that he did go into some sort of protective hiding briefly after the first blast was reported. And he will be speaking later today. I can't wait.

1. No doubt he wants to bask in the glory of the carnage
They'll be having to hold him back from climbing up on a pile of dead bodies, putting his arm around a fireman, and hooting his chimporer chants through a bullhorn.

I'm sure he's happy as hell and his poll numbers will undoubtedly ratchet up.

6. He's In Scotland...500 plus miles away
Yep...our brave Chief Ass In The Hat is going to show us how he stands up to them evil "terr-rists".

They sure aren't going to ruin the course of Western civilization...he's going golfing and Pickles is going shopping...they've probably got a fundraiser fit in there somewhere.

Hell, this is a working vacation for the manchild. He's not prepared to let them "feriners" tell him anything. We'll hear more rhetoric that will show up on Al Queda "locker rooms".

I'll be watching the level of outrage in Europe that is sure to grow from this.

7. God, he's such a baby.
I bet not once has he stopped to think about the casualties, or the reason for the bombing. *'s first thought is to dash for cover, like the coward he is.

I loathe Tony Blair too, but at least he put his head above the parapet long enough to speak. I thought he looked guilty too, no matter how much he tried to hide it. Blair knows what this is about.

What a horrible day.

10. I miss the days when leaders acted like leaders.
And not small small people scurrying off in fear.

What happened to those days?

13. I remember from Richard Clarke's book
When he talked about the day the Big Dog took over the situation room during a terror situation. <sigh>

11. He'd love to duck out early, he has no interest at all in global warming.
I'm sure he could care less what any of the other leaders have to say.

12. Plus, there's no plan to raise the terror alert for the US
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20050707/ts_nm/security_britain_usa_dc

All we heard through November was "Look Out! Terra!!!!"

Now that there is an actual incident of terrorism, they want to act like nothing has happened...."Oh don't worry folks...won't happen here! "
