So it took a terrorist attack to "revive" Cheney?
Hasn't been seen or heard from in days, and now he is suddenly "on his way back to Washington from his ranch."

1. Dawn of the Dead redux...terrorism is their life's blood--
it will revitalize BushCo and erase the memory of Rove's transgressions.

7. He sees this as an opportunity.
An opportunity to show how right they were about the war on terror.

4. They mostly finished
construction of his clone... they forgot to put in his compasionite conservitism, but given that his heart is so black anyways, they felt his clone could do without it.

9. Exactly!
It seemed a typical commute here in NYC. I didn't notice any of the "additional police" presence they were talking about this morning.

10. Present administration excepted but...
Wouldn't it generally be a good idea for the VP to be in Washington when the President isn't?

15. Well, it explains why he's been hiding out
There must have been chatter about a coming attack for a few weeks. The defacto president fled to his bunker, but now that the attack has happened, he emerges.

16. Or
:tinfoilhat:

Or maybe it took Cheney to revive a terrorist attack.

Lets see if they try to pin the blame on Iran or at least pin it on bin Laden and then play pin the tail on the donkey and tell everyone that bin Laden is in Iran.

18. I wouldn't be surprised if Cheney orchestrated this.
He has been looking for new opportunity to wage a more open attack in Iran.
