The London attack helps Bush (Coincidence?)
Blair is now gone from the G8 Conference.

There will be no talks of aid to Africa.

There will be nothing about helping the environment.

There will be nothing about ending poverty.

The G8 Conference will probably be 99% about terrorism.

Once again, Bush profits from a terrorist attack.

Coincidence?

2. Blair said he would be returning from what I heard. Wasn't going to
stop the conference.

3. Yes, it is a coincidence
It would be nice if the world were so simple as everything being some kind of master plan, but that's just not the way it works.

4. While I instinctively
thought about the innocents, that did flash across my brain. The timing is uncanny - the only discussion will now be terrorism.

8. Let Us Be Clear, Ma'am
You believe this was done by U.S. operatives to get Rove's troubles out of rthe headlines?

You think this was done by U.S. operatives because England was gong to supply several thousand soldiers to Afghanistan?

17. Yes, that's right.
See post 10 below. AND have we heard a peep about the Plame case today? Of course not. As it should be. Our friends across the pond are suffering.

Blair was planning on taking troops out of Iraq.

I will never believe the CIA didn't do this.

9. Thank you cog.
I just got flamed for saying that this would be a deflection from the Plame case. Look at it this way: what is the MSM talking about today?....of course, the destruction in London, but hurrican Dennis too. No mention of the KKKarl/Plame case at all. It may be just a temporary reprieve, but it got everyone's mind off of the "S" word that MSNBC dared to speak.

Blair To Pull Troops from Iraq?

We may now be only weeks away from a complete collapse of the Iraqi army and the withdrawal of British troops from Iraq in the face of overwhelming public pressure on Tony Blair.

That is a realistic projection based on the reports of two Washington Post reporters, whose dispatches from inside Iraqi Army units and U.S. units assigned to train and work with the Iraqi military have just been published.

11. No it's not a coincidence
Terrorism has been very very good to Bu$h. Every attack is a favor to him. The moneybags behind it all has to have allegiance with him, there's no other reasonable explanation.

I mean, isn't this the sort of thing that begs an alert for the U.S? Hell, we should've automatically gone on full alert!

Yet we're suppose to act like nothing has happened.

13. Very short term help.
The fearmongering by the Bushites will "help" him ... but I predict it will be pretty short term.

Bush told us a couple of weeks ago in rationalizing the Iraq attack that we were fighting them there so we wouldn't have to fight them here. Guess what --- they're here!

In short order, people will get angry with Bush because of his irresponsiblity and incompetence.

Just remember and repeat this: Bin Laden is still free!
