"There won't be a rock big enough for the liberals to hide under..."
A caller from C-SPAN just made this point. He warned the liberals and the "Moslems" that keep criticizing "our President". I don't just blame the dumbass president. I blame assholes like the caller that voted for him. They are not innocent.

4. Ummm... I wouldn't worry about him at all.
If he was as tough as his phone call, he'd be takin' out 'surgents in Iraq.

22. They may be cowards but they are still dangerous
A German in 1927 would have dismissed the Nazis in the same way - as eccentric blowhards.

All people like this need is some official sanction and cover for their acts.

I would not treat any threat of violence lightly.

2. A foolish notion that if all liberals just disappeared today...
...that terrorism would cease to exist.

Simple minds ALWAYS come up with simple-minded shit that doesn't pass the test of logic.

8. it was talk like that
that was part of what precipitated violence in Rwanda. Along with overpopulation, political problems, etc. - according to Jared Diamond in "Collapse".

If they insist that we carry IDs identifying our political party - that would be a bad sign.

10. Yes. This kind of speech is being encouraged and that's
a really bad idea. Even if this armchair militiaman isn't a problem, somewhere, someone considers the possibility of acting on the language.

11. I hate those people..
I hear it more and more. They claim we are losing in Iraq because the liberals don't support the troops and the President.

My response always is...

"If every man woman and child started supporting the troops and president TODAY, how in the hell would that make the insurgants give and leave?"

Fucking idiots.

12. hiding
Saw a car sticker yesterday, right above "U.S. Marine Corps---Retired":
"Liberalism is a Disease."

So yes, the "rhetoric" is increasing in its violence (implied or otherwise, as what else does one do with a disease, except try to eradicate it?) against non-supporters of Bushco.

24. When I first suggested that we are on a course
toward Civil war two years ago, a lot of people thought I was crazy.

But wait till the oil crisis hits full bore, and Mr. Ford F350 remembers that he has a gun rack in his undrivable pick up.

That will also be the liberal's fault, and he will go out to the freeway, and start shooting compact cars and hybreds. He will gladly become a jihadist, because he already knows how to blindly hate.
Sadly, that is about all he knows how to do to confront the challenges in his world.

It takes accurate information to respond to a challenging world. Ask Valerie Plame what happened to our flow of truth.

"Ignorance is strength."

Orwell said it last century, and it still is news.

Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 09:52 AM by alarcoeg
Isn't that the title or subtitle of about a hundred books by now? Michael Savage, Hannity, Coulter, Horowitz, Limpballs, O'Lielly, et al don't have an original thought in their puny collective mind.

edited for spelling.

28. I pass a billboard every morning
on 1-85 in Atlanta advertising some wingnut station and in great big letters is the message: LIBERALS HATE US. And that's the big draw.
We're a very polarized nation and these people just make money off the division. So...it's in their best interest to keep the rhetoric inflammatory. Who knows what they really believe. I think they just worship money. And to make it, they know what to say.
We're the enemy.

Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 09:19 AM by smoogatz
If only everyone would root, root, root for the home team, we'd be winning! Those bad liberals, thinking their snarky and skeptical thoughts and muttering amongst themselves, are ruining everything. Sheesh. If there are soft-target attacks in the US, Bush will be the one looking for a rock to hide under.

15. WHAT THE FUCK??????
Let that caller come here and threaten me to my FACE. I don't WANT or NEED a rock to hide under, but I'll tell you one thing: if I had voted for bush, I'd sure as hell want to hide under a rock for being such a MASSIVE DUMBASS.

I think they are just pissed off that their little boy child is such a huge fucking cock-up disaster of a "president."

18. I'm no gun nut, but I've got an extra one if you need it.
I think they are best tucked away in case of emergencies, not to be posed in pictures with, not to be drooled over, not to be bragged about (all things freepers love to do), just something to have just in case. And I do.

20. He was warning the Minute Men would be coming after us
Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 09:27 AM by Samantha
the liberals, those who criticize his President, George W. Bush*, and those who do not stand by the war on terror his President, George W. Bush* is waging in Iraq and other places.

Please be advised, Mr. Minute Man, you come after me, a proud liberal and a vocal advocate against your President, George W. Bush* and I too will not need a rock to hide under. I do not condone domestic violence of one American toward another; but I can become a Minute Woman in a nano-second if you come looking for me. And you can kiss my liberal buns, you barbaric excuse for a civilized person, in the interim.

We are not afraid of you. We pity you.

23. Pretty Stunning Call
I like to hear calls like that. It drives moderate Republicans from their own party. It is the sort of filth that no rational man or woman can tolerate and for most people when that becomes the mantra of an association they belong to they quit. So if a fellow like that wants to call in to a National television broadcast and alienate members of his own party who am I, as an opponent to that party, to ask him to stop?

and was struck by the similarity between his comments and the ignorant inbreds on the Yahoo boards.

I wonder what he plans to do to us? :sarcasm:

Make me listen to his powerful rhetoric?

Have me babysit his scores of doofus children?

So many warnings, so little time :D
