How do you run into a policeman with a bicycle? Does the bicycle not have any brakes? Did the policeman run in front of bike and you could not stop in time? Were your eyes closed, and riding blindly, hoping everyone would get out of your way? Were you riding at an unsafe speed? Were you reckless? Maybe it's time to get off the bike?

Also, in my own experience of learning how to ride a bike as an adult, I've observed that the bike will "end up" going where I am looking. So if he was looking at the crowd, smiling.. his bike was not going where he thought it should have..

wrecks on his bike all the time. He hasn't hit a policeman yet. Of course, my son is 9, rides like he is indestructible, and doesn't always make the best judgments. Sound familiar? ;)
