about the tragedy... I'm sitting here at the library and Fux is on all four screens so it's blown up.

Look I am not being indifferent about the London bombings my heart goes out to them all. I don't like violence as much as Bush does and I prefer that there be world peace and I pray for it.

I just wish that Fux would go onto other news for God's sake.

Sorry if I have offended anyone but you know how it is, they're going to keep on an on ignoring other news.

but I would rather they report on the "white girl" missing in Aruba (which for some undisclosed reason offends you) than spend ALL of their time defending and apologizing for the lies and disinformation coming out of Washington.

8. Their coverage of the missing girl offends me because they

consistently refer to it as the "TOP STORY" - I'm sorry, but in light of the DSM and the Plame/Rove scandal and the war in Iraq, I don't see the necessity of covering the story of a missing girl 24 hours, 7 days a week. I most certainly am offended that it is, day after day, their "top story."

10. I see your point . . . unfortunately, the only way to NOT be

offended by what goes on at that station is NEVER to watch it--like I don't and never will again. There was a time when I thought that somehow I needed to be aware of what they were saying--that by knowing what they were broadcasting would be useful to me in some way. Guess what--NOT TRUE.... Just say NO.

6. I know it's fearmongering

I just wonder how much deeper into the hell that we are in is going to get? Will Bush and Co. start using this event in order to ram more undemocratic laws down our throats? Will there be another attack on US soil?

All kinds of questions are going through my mind. I don't even want to watch TV cause it hurts too much and I'll start obessessing. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

shouldn't be spreading misinformation like that. Someone should protest this to the library staff.

but usually they show Fox on one corner, CNN on another, the Weather Channel on the third an library updates on the fourth.

I guess people just want to get their "news" and with this being Grand Rapids, MI I'm not surprised that no one is protesting it.
