Regardless of mine and other Irish American's feelings about the British role in Northern Ireland, this horrific attack must be condenmed by EVERYONE!

These Al Qaida dirtbags have made a big mistake, my Marine unit worked with British Royal Marines in Kosovo, and the British millitary is top notch. While I'm not a fan of the IRA, I never thought for a moment that this was anything to do with them, and I regard any post that tries to implicate them as very ignorant, if not disruptive.

Why do you think this is going to change that?

As for the "top notch" Brit military they've had a shot at the IRA for decades and have failed.

This is a police matter, as was 9/11, and should be handled that way.

Sending the military in to kill people willy-nilly hasn't proved very effective in ending terrorism.
