1) The Bush Administration has continually used the old "fight 'em over there so we don't have to fight over here" line to justify their invasion of Iraq. This bombing puts the lie to that claim.

2) People have got terrorist scare fatigue.

3) The Bush team's credibility is already in tatters. People will be more likely to *blame them* for this attack than rally to them.

4) The harshest point: the attack was not inside the USA, so most of Bush's supporters won't really care that much anyway.

We need to remind people that it has been almost four years since 9/11. Bin Laden is still on the loose as are most of his lieutenants, and the terrorists are just as bold and strong as ever.

Bush has failed to defeat the terrorists, and his strategy will not work.

The United States is the most powerful nation on earth, but Bush has divided us and weakened us by committing our military to the quagmire in Iraq.

The United States has the greatest intelligence operation in the world, but Bush has used it to "fix" facts to support his fanatical ideology, not to deal with the terrorists.

The United States has the most powerful military in the world, but Bush has lost the trust of peaceful nations who would normally be our allies in fighting the terrorists.

The United States led the invasion of Afghanistan in response to 9/11, but Bush squandered the opportunity to destroy the terrorist camps and training grounds by protecting Pakistan which has become the central breeding ground for terrorism and by attacking Iraq instead of finishing the job in Afghanistan.

We have to call Bush to answer for his failures and for the corruption of his regime. If terrorist acts as bold as the bombings today can happen in London, they can happen here. London has known terrorism for many years and has taken all kinds of security precautions including locating cameras in public places. If the British laws and security measures have not protected Britain, the Patriot Act and Homeland Security are not going to help us here.

We need a leader who can unite the world to join with us in dealing with the terrorists. Bush is a divider, not a uniter.

We need a leader who is not viewed as being a military opportunist ready to invade any country that he doesn't like or that has something he wants.

We need a leader who inspires the people of the world to focus on peace, cooperation, prosperity and protection of the environment, not endless wars and destruction.

Bush is not the leader we need. We need someone who has more moral strength and sense of right and wrong and more humility than Bush. We need a leader who can lead the world to peace, not to more war.
