"Fight them there" strategy a failure....
So much for the asshat logic of Bush's "fight them there instead of fight them here" strategy.

It never made sense from the start

1. Maybe it's because terrorism has no "there"?
Fighting terrorism cannot be done militarily for the simple reason that its proponents aren't centralized. It's not like going to war with a country.

It's amazing how many people see validity in the statement, though.

2. Well the chickens have come home to roost.........
"the fight them over there strategy" is just another example of failed policy & planning. From the beginning I would just shake my head everytime I heard it. All they had to do was go back and look a history, to find it will not work. We are dealing with 19th century thinking in the 21st century. It now appears the terrorists have figured them out and decided to go on the offensive.
