Cspan caller on Washington Journal
Edited on Thu Jul-07-05 06:32 PM by Emerson
Did anyone hear the first call on Washington Journal today?

A right winger called in and said "I hope these people know that we are not europe and we have guns here and if they do here what they did there we will retaliate"

These people are so ignorant. Yes, this happened because "europe doesn't have guns". Wonder why he isn't serving. Somehow I have a feeling he'd be the first huddled in a bunker.

The first democrat that called was the one to express sympathy. Goes to show what the right thinks about.

on edit: 2nd right wing caller wanted to make sure it was mentioned that it was ISLAMIC terrorists, and wanted politicians to make that clear. Further he said political corectness was preventing them from mentioning islam. Following right wing callers kept going on the killing talk and blamed "liberals" for obstructing them. Democratic callers kept being sympathetic to those lost today, right wingers kept making sure to mention they supported bush. Nothing about concern for those dead.

1. Does he carry his gun on the train system in the city he lives in?
Cuz that in and of itself could cause problems. Or better, he'll just run home get it and be right back. "Mr terrorist, please wait right here." What a moran
