The Consequences of Failed Leadership
Whenever you remember this day, 7/7/05, I want you to do me a favor.

I want you remember the consequences of unaccountable, failed leadership.

I want you to remind all of your Repug friends of how, in the rush to war in Iraq, we dropped the ball and took our eye off of the real enemy- Al Qaeda.

I want you to remember George Bush's response in January 2005, when asked by the Washington Post if anyone in his administration should be called to account for the Iraq debacle. He said he had his accountability moment, and it was called the 2004 election.

I hate to get political at a time like this, but we need to make clear that there are consequences to failed, unaccountable leadership.

3. Notwithstanding your contentions, my guess is Repugs in the Congress will
still vote in virtual lockstep for every highly flawed piece of legislation W wants passed and every highly flawed nominee he presents to the Senate for advice and consent (rubber stamping).

4. This is ALL political
I feel for the people who are injured, and the families of those who died, but this is a direct result of the Bush Regime's stupidity, and Tony Blair's shortsightedness in supporting our government's moronic policies.

I can't speak for Britain, but we know damn well that our money isn't being spent to make us safer HERE. It's being spent (foolishly, considering Haliburton's involvement) fighting a war in Iraq we never needed to start in the first place.

5. I totally agree
Bush's war on innocent Iraqis has only created more terrorism worldwide.

7. I had an argument
with a RWer on a message board...trying to explain this to him. If we blow up a guy's family while invading his country, he's got a legitimate grudge against us.

How is that so hard to understand?
