I was watching the documentary "Spin"....

I'm watching the documentary "Spin" that's posted in the Judy Miller Mockingbird thread by someone. It's a great documentary and shows how the media is manipulative and all that and how long it has been. I'm watching about now the 1992 democratic primary and how Clinton rose to the top. The media ignored this one guy who was running. He kept moving up the polls and the media just ignored him. He was supposed to do some interviews and the network broke a promise to him and one of his staffers had to go to a super market close by for some makeup and that same day Clinton had a big interview about the rumor going around that some woman had a twelve year affair with him and he was trying to do undamage control. There was also a democratic event and the guy was posed in a picture with Clinton and two other popular canidates and the guy was cropped out of the photo which was just weird. I have heard speculation here on the board about them hacking our primary away from Dean. I don't think it happened. I do think the media played a huge role just like with 1992. Bush was becoming very very unpopular and "management" needed someone new and fresh and to keep the people happy. I think IF we don't win any more seats in next year's midterms and we can impeach Bush and all that we'll have a democratic president next time around. I have been keeping an eye on Hillary lately and she has teamed up with Murdoch for something and they are doing a lot of smearing on her just like they did Clinton. Of course I believe a lot of people just hate Hillary to just hate and they don't like her. Some stuff they show is just common sense. Some stuff is interesting. Like one part of the doc they're showing Bush I sitting with Larry King during a commercial and he asks King if he thinks Saddam Hussein is watching. If you haven't seen this doc you should. 2. I loved the documentary

I was really blown away by the stuff about bush 1 and Larry King. Pat Robertson comes across as a major dick.

We need Spin II now :)
