Those were the words of the lead investigator of the UK bombings..

It surprises me that people have not zeroed in on the fact that those street-cams were put there for safety...yet they only recorded the carnage..Did not contribute to safety at all..

People who gave up privacy for safety, did indeed get neither..

Suicidal killers cannot be "punished or caught".. That's why the only tactic that works is PREVENTION...

Prevention requires that people in charge actually start listening to the beefs of so many disgruntled people on the planet.. I am not saying that they should be appeased, BUT when so few have so much power to hurt so many, why NOT at least try to figure out why they are so pissed off and willing to DIE, just to kill US..

that they are alive somwhere in the UK (because they couldn't get out of the country (airports and ports being the first places to be alerted in such an event) or they were suicide bombers. Not too difficult to understand and it makes perfect sense so it can't have come from US Intelligence.

I hope the lack of security with all that surveillance is talked up in England. Their REAL ID scheme is already under fire.

Prevention also requires never publishing the claims of responsibility. All the public needs to know is whether is was an accident or done with malicious intent. Giving recognition to the bombers or their cause emboldens them and others.

I agree with you that we should spend more time and resources trying to figure out why there are so many desperate, disgruntled people on our planet. These bombers aren't trying to kill 'us,' they're trying to bring attention to their plight.
