Opus Returns To The Funny Pages

(AP) Cartoonist Berkeley Breathed is resurrecting Opus the penguin from the 1980s comic strip "Bloom County" for a new series to appear in Sunday comics this November.

The Sunday-only strip, to be called "Opus," begins Nov. 23, the Washington Post reported Tuesday. It will be syndicated by The Washington Post Writers Group.

from all the articles I have read about anorexia, it is a emotional disease in which the victim feels they have lost all control in their lives and the only thing that they can control is what they eat. Very, very sad. I remember pictures of her when they first got married, she was so pretty and had a nice, full figure. Sad.

I blame society--well, high society that is.

There is a HUGE trend among Hollywood types to get so much plastic surgery that people start looking like their skulls. Arnold's had plastic surgery, too. Look for the telltale signs in the upper eyelids and under the chin. Most of the leftover tissue is either used to clone an army of killer cyborgs or gets imported onto John Kerry's face.

Other public figures with painfully obvious tuck work done include both President and Dr. Bartlett. I don't mean to dis them while there daughter is still being held by those Kumarian terrorists, but I still remember when Stockard Channing was a strikingly beautiful 30-year-old high school student in the Pink Ladies. Now she looks like runner up in an Elizabeth Taylor look-alike contest.

It looks like Gephardt's had some tucking done as well, btw. If Huffington's had any, it's good enough that I can't see it.

How are you? (Not a highjack but, thanks for being so nice to my boy.) Poor Maria, she has her mother's bad aging genes. Her mother looks like a ghoul. Sarge Shriver was a great looking guy...and a good man. He launched the Peace Corps under Kennedy. They DO LOOK ALIKE...same mouths! I wonder what she thinks about all of this. After all, she had her own career before he went insane. One thing about the Kennedy women (from someone from B'Town), they are VERY loyal to their men. Look at Rose, Jackie, Ethel and Joan.
