I was doing a search on threads by Andy and found this one, I just wanted to share.

3. We have Andy in our hearts and minds.

While his body is shut down and his spirit has gone home, his passion is very much alive in all of us.

That is a gift,...an amazing gift. Hang on to that,...amazement,...that gift.

2. I remember that one. I was tickled by how "star-struck" he was...

and touched by his genuine appreciation for the gesture, as well as respect for the person, Gore Vidal.

5. They became friends. I've always adored Gore Vidal

and I called him with updates a couple of times, when I was making calls for Mr. Stephenson. It was scary! But, he was obviously very fond of Andy.

I never saw that posting. Vidal even writes in a chummy way no matter how serious the topic. I'm so glad to learn about Andy's conversation with Vidal.
