This debate has made our DU candidate squabbling look pretty dumb
Yeah, we have policy differences. Yeah, we have to discuss that. Yeah, that can get heated. But the pitch and tenor of those debates here have gone into the realm of wacko world.

My proof of that is pretty simple: This debate we have been watching. We have the best set of candidates, from top to bottom, that I have ever seen. I hope they all stay in the race until the primaries are over, so that we can have ten righteous people spread across the country speaking the way they have.

We are in very, very, very good shape. I am as optimistic after watching this as I have ever been. I'll take any of these people. Any of them.

Thank you Joe.
Thank you Howard.
Thank you John and John.
Thank you Dennis.
Thank you Carol.
Thank you Dick.
Thank you Bob.
Thank you Al.
Thank you Wesley.

I'm off to talk to some folks in North Carolina. I am floating on air.

tonight in NC. Glad you're feeling better about the candidates. From what I got to hear on the internet feed I am too. This thing may just turn out ok after all. :-)

2. I'm floaty, and giddy, and proud, and beaming.
These candidates are the best field we've had in twenty years. I'm impressed beyond my own expectations.

It's a beautiful autumn day here in Ohio, with the faint whiff of primary season in the air, and I say, bring it on... the hardest thing is going to be making up my own damn mind among this fine field of 10.

Oh, happy day!!!
Jennifer

5. Hell yeah!
I love our candidates. They all got it going for them if you ask me. What we have is a diverse group of candidates, all intelligent, articulate with strong charismatic personalities. I would be proud to call any single one of these people "President __________."

Understandably, I am not that old and have been voting age for only 10 years now, but I can't think of a time when we have had such a great collective group of candidates. These guys and our one gal-who doesn't get her just props in my book- have something for everybody. We ARE in good shape and I, for one, am justly excited to watch everything unfold in the next 13 months. Best of luck to all of them, because we have never needed these ten people more than we do now.

10. Wow!
I'm impressed. I will have no reservations about voting for any of these candidates in the general election but I am less certain about who I should vote for in the primaries. They all made excellent points! I think this is the greatest field of candidates I have seen in the 27 years I have been voting.

Does my heart good. Can't wait to see the replay tonight.

I'm sick up and fed with all the negativity and candidate bashing I see here. Doesn't really rise to the level of "debate".

To paraphrase Donald Sutherland (Oddball) in Kelly's Heroes: "Enough with the negative waves!"

Think about sending some letters to the editor to this effect. The RNC/Fox/ClearChannel/Prestige clowns are trying to sell another "7 dwarfs" story (this time 10); every bit of counter-argument to this crap we can muster counts!

21. But! My hearts with Sharpton, Kucinich, Moseley Braun.....and down the
road....Dean.......Kerry turned me off......and I know he's your candidate....but the people who spoke to my heart about the VALUES of the Democratic Party......were those!

Kerry turned me off.........boring....(I'm sorry...he puts me to sleep) and the people I connnected with....and was pounding my fist on my kitchen counter top....like I was watching the Red Sox....come back....WERE....Sharpton, Moseley-Braun, Kucinich, Dean.................

And.......our Hearts.....will never be pragmatic enough to rule our minds......and the "others" will be THE ONE's.

My hearts with the Soul of the Dem Party.......but I know we will have to "compromise."

Compromise.....Compromise.......Compromise.....and in the end......one has given it ALL AWAY! Who is talking about this.....for the future.........WHO?

How can you be sure he won't steal the election for Bush like Nader? Man you blow with the wind from day to day.Does this mean you are no longer "worried" about Dean?

Sometimes I wonder if what you post here actually means anything or you are just working out some sort of internal dialogue in public. Your new name is waffles.

I would vote for any one of them over the Shrub, and would only hold my nose while doing so in one instance.

This group of nominees makes me more proud than ever to be a DEMOCRAT!

The silly bickering here between "supporters" of various candidates has been a bit entertaining, but mostly just dumb.
