Heck if Fox has him at 50% you know this ship is sinking.

The poll also finds that 50 percent of Americans approve and 40 percent disapprove of the job Bush is doing as president. Early in the president’s term (and prior to the 9/11 terrorist attacks), his approval rating stood at 55 percent, which had been his lowest rating before this most recent poll. The president hit his peak job rating to-date, 88 percent approval, following the 9/11 attacks (November 2001).

2. NUH UH!!! Shut UP!!!
Ohmygosh.... seriously?

I fully expected the new Fox Poll to put him at 61% or so... amazing, and there's just no denying that Chimpy McFlightSuit is sinking. Even Faux is jumping ship.

Shocking... thanks for posting that, demdem, and yes, I was sitting down!!

3. given that they probably asked him questions designed to skew his
results HIGHer, then the polling probably is quite exciting when you consider that it didn't.

Too often, its how the question is phrased that gets the desired answer:

"Do you support the troops in Iraq by a) supporting the war, b) take the commie route by not supporting the war, c) need to be reported to John Ashcroft as an enemy alien terrorist by not supporting the war?

Know that they tried to skew it and only got this much. Amazing. Its probably down around 30% if you asked good questions.

6. Well, I think this means his numbers are even lower
If CNN and Fox have him at 49% or 50% respectively. That means it's probably 43% to 45%.

I'll wait until the next Zogby.
