"Resolve" is the new buzzword?
Seems as though freedomdemocracy has been replaced now with the word "resolve". Smirky has used this word repeatedly since the London bombing and in the radio address today. Here are some examples:

The loss of 18 elite servicemen in the deadliest single attack on U.S. troops in Afghanistan will only strengthen the military's resolve to fight terrorism, the commander of the Navy SEALs said Friday.

(snip)
Britain's resolve to see its mission in Iraq through has strengthened following the terrorist bombings in London, in spite of calls from anti-war campaigners for the withdrawal of troops.

(snip)
President Bush has expressed solidarity with Britain following the terrorist attacks in London, and vowed to continue the fight against terrorism. In his weekly radio address Saturday, Mr. Bush said the free world is united in its resolve to continue the fight until terrorism is defeated.

Calling for "resolve" to keep fighting. Capitalizing on the British tragedy for their own political gain. The hubris is just astounding. But also, there may be some fear that the world is not resolve to continue the never ending war?

1. Resolve is a good thing unless you are wrong then
you are just being resolved to continue a mistake. How can you stay the course, when you are off course? Makes no sense....

2. Resolve is a great virtue for Bush to Champion because
it is morally blank. It is just doing what you are already doing. Sticking to the plan. It says nothing about whether the original plan was a good plan or a moral plan.

3. In the dictionary of Bush terms, it says:

resolve (ri-zolv'): as stupid and pig-headed as you ever was.
