A small Mother's Day rally was spyed on?
I missed this last week, but this is some scary shit.

STATE NATIONAL GUARD UNIT SET UP TO DETER TERRORISM MONITORED ANTI-WAR RALLY.

That rainy Sunday, the protest organized by Gold Star Families for Peace, Raging Grannies and CodePink drew about three dozen supporters.

Guard spokesman Zezotarski said the monitoring did not involve anything more than keeping tabs on the protest through the media and that no one went to observe the demonstration.

But he said the military would be ``negligent'' in not tracking such anti-war rallies in the event that they disintegrate into a riot that could prompt the governor to call out troops.

``It's nothing subversive,'' Zezotarski said. ``Because who knows who could infiltrate that type of group and try to stir something up? After all, we live in the age of terrorism, so who knows?''

Civil libertarians scoffed at such defenses.

"Because who knows who could infiltrate that type of group and try to stir something up? After all, we live in the age of terrorism, so who knows?''

And what about the anti-choice groups, the religious fanatics, and the KKK? Are they keeping tabs on them as well? You don't know who might infiltrate those groups and try to stir things up. And since those groups are clearly more prone to violence than Gold Star Families for Peace, I would think they would be at the top of their list. It's clearly an excuse to monitor a group that doesn't agree with the political issues of Arnold and brush.

3. I understand that some women were seen to be carrying
pepper spray. This may mark them as "persons of interest". Whatever did happen to Hatfill anyhoo.....

Pepper spray.... I much rather the salt spray on a cool December night along the shore in Vero Beach Fl.....
