and i don't care if it's a democrat or a republican, the war(s) are the only thing i am concerned about now, just like bush.

bill clinton wants it to drag out longer? fuck him. hillary supports it? fuck her. joe lieberman, joe biden, i don't give a damn, if you want this fucking war, fuck you.

and if a republican runs on an anti war platform, i'll be damn tempted to vote for him/her.

2. it was mine in the LAST election, and I'll say it now...
...I would vote for a republican in a skinny minute if he/she was staunchly opposed to the Iraq war-- and pledged to end it as priority number one.

5. This was also the #1 issue in 2004
It lost us that election. If the candidates had hit hard on Iraq, the lies, the suffering in that country, etc. we might have easily won that election. There were indications that the public was tiring of Iraq in the weeks just before November. If Dems had an astute leadership they would have picked up on that. As it happened, only a couple of the minor candidates were speaking up. It pissed me off then, and if Dems don't pick up on it now, we're doomed to repeat the same mess in 2006 and 2008.

We need to drum this into their monolithic brains:

All issues, domestic and foreign, are linked with Iraq!

The extent to which we don't make that connection with the public is the extent to which we will lose on the next election cycle.
