What if Al Gore had stumbled through four years of wrecking the economy, lying about a war, increasing the budget and trade deficits to over one trillion dollars a year, producing the worst job creation figures since the 30s, giving away trillions in pork and tax breaks to the rich, outing CIA agents, gutting the US Constitution, and basically turning Washington into a cesspool of corruption?

Can you imagine the outrage from Limbaugh, Hannity, and the MSM if Gore had a record identical to George W. Bush? Would Gore have even survived the full four years?

Speaking of which, the other evening I was watching MSNBC or CNN and Pataki was introduced as "The 9/11 Governor." Not sure that it was meant to sound critical, although I didn't think of it as a flattering reference. I will always think of * as "the 9/11 president" -- and I don't mean it kindly.

Or how about finding out that a dem was wired during a debate.

Or how about finding out that high level Dem's demanded that a high value suspect in the war on terra be caught and paraded out right before the convention, never mind he was still giving info about terrorists activities to friendly governments - which may in fact may have help prevent what happened in London.

Or if a Dem president has asked say, Rob Riener or Barbara Streisand to help with the selection of a SCOTUS justice.
