Attorney General Files Lawsuit Over Redistricting Initiative
http://www.thekcrachannel.com/news/4701758/detail.html

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Attorney General Bill Lockyer filed suit Friday to remove Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's redistricting initiative from the November ballot, saying supporters violated the state Constitution when they significantly changed the measure's wording.

Lockyer filed the suit in Sacramento County Superior Court as the issue becomes increasingly politicized between the attorney general, a Democrat, and Secretary of State Bruce McPherson, a Republican appointed by Schwarzenegger.

Organizers of the redistricting initiative backed by the governor for the next special election submitted one version to Lockyer's office for approval, but then used a different version while gathering signatures from voters.

1. Does someone think Aarnald is still in a movie?
The things that have been going on in Calif. recently are more like a movie script than reality TV!

Why doesn't it surprise me that the Pub would try to pull a fast one? Let's hope the AG succeeds with his suit.

4. Yayyyyyyyy Lockyer!!
That particular measure was bothering me some...shades of Tom DeLay! I am furious that the Boobengrabber even managed to get this special election going. We Californians can't afford it, don't need it and don't want it! I cannot believe they got enough signatures. They probably gave away Arnold souvenirs for sigs! :puke:
