What does the Bush administration have on the media?
The whole Valarie Plame outing has Karl Rove finger prints all over it.

Billions of dollars have turned up missing.

Private contractors are getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to do jobs that perfectly trained military people can do.

The reason the attention changed from Bin Laden to Saddam, even though he had nothing to do with 9/11, and President "can't ride a bike" can constantly through in our faces 9/11 and Saddam.

I can go on with many other issues but, none of our media outlets ever do any type of thorough investigation. Are they scared of some sort of repercussion? Will their White House Press Room passes be revoked? Will they be denied access to future press banquets, where Bush can joke about not finding WMD's?

What does the Bush administration have on this media for them to not follow through on any of these issues, when it seems there are plenty of evidence for them to investigate?

1. I think it's partly because of concentrated ownership by Pubs.
That coupled with the threat that if someone publishes things against the admin, they'll be shut out of all information. Look what happened to Helen Thomas.

I've gotten a little bit of hope lately though. Since Shrubs #'s hae been falling, the MSM questions seem to have gotten stronger. Maybe we'll all be surprised to find out some reporters have been working on these issued behind the scenes, and there'll be a big story in the near future.

2. I don't think it's a matter of what they have on them,
rather what they have from them; namely their collective testicles in a specimen jar with Cheney in an undisclosed location!

3. It's simple, they pay their salaries, follow the money......
As hard as it is for some folks to believe, there are some people that simply believe earning a living, a high ranking one mind you is more important that honor in one's chosen proffession such as those declaring they have integrity when clearly, they have little...

I also recall which I mentioned some time ago watching Faux where Hannity was talking with Madcow, this was after the Janet Jackson circus and they were then after Howard Stern...

Madcow was furious though he proffessed not liking Stern, he stil was furious that they were threatening his freedom of speech, it was one of the few times I witnessed that sick Hannity stutter when Madcow had him admit that they were all being watched like hawks by those working for the government, he accused them of even searching their computers and their offices for what, who knows, it was the one and only time that such was aired, Madcow soon got even wilder in his actions denouncing anyone not committed to the fools running this country as did hannity, it was a telling moment...

They not only tow the line to keep their salaries coming in, but it seems they were also in the beginning actually cowered into submission to tow the party line no matter how evil it was to become....

I really wish that segment had been captured, I have never seen it anywhere else nor have I talked to anyone else who witnessed this exchange so early on when these vipers began their destruction of our democracy..
