Is it meant to bash clinton? Is it tongue in cheek? What?

If you ARE going to bash clinton, shouldn't you pick another topic than finances?

it seems to misrepresent the positions both of Clark's supporters and of his detractors.

3. I think its pretty funny!

It captures the enthusiasm a lot of us have for Clark that is often characterized as "romantic".

And it speaks to our fear that someone else may be pulling the strings, which might dampen the enthusiasm.

Nothing we haven't heard before, but it's amusingly depicted.

I don't think "can we afford another president from Arkansas" means finances, but scandal.
