33. Yes I do
and the week after I bought my truck this all started! Little by little it had been creeping. I am looking into getting a biodiesel tank put out at my farm. They will come by and fill it up for you as needed or once a month but I think that is even more expensive. Still, once we move out to the farm it would serve me well and the planet to do that.

2. Northern NJ (suburbs of NYC)
My town is at $2.23 right now at most places. One town away (like 4 minute drive) it's $2.37 (but it's at a Mobil station and they are always higher...). Was $1.99 one week ago...

6. About .85 a litre in Toronto (2.55 gallon)
But, although the war in Iraq causes fluctuation, it is not really the cause of the hike. China, with a billion people, and India, with nearly a billion are the fastest growing economies in the world. Every day their demand for energy and fuel go up. The price of Gasoline and other fuels is just going to keep going up. It may rise and dip, but on the whole it will be more expensive at the end of 06 than it will be at the end of 05 and more expensive in 07 than in 06. The days of cheap oil (and fossil fuels in general) are over, forever.

13. If we had a balanced budget, gas would be $1.20 a gallon nationally.
A sinking dollar helps foriegn investors buy our country, but kills the american consumer. This is how tax cuts kill us.

21. Shit! There Would Be A Line At The Pump at Two and A Quarter
Its up as high as $2.53 here and at an auction I was at yesterday the auctioneer sort of sadly joked that it would be to $3.00 before you know it ... and the distinctly Republican audience nodded its collective head in agreement.

22. Okeechobee, FL
It went from $2.11 approx. 5 days ago (I think it was Tuesday night) to $2.35 2 NIGHTS AGO! FUKU CIRCLE KKK! And that's the CHEAPEST one in town excepting this BP that's NEVER open at night when I used to work nights.
Oh, there was one other station cheaper, I think it was Citgo, but only by like 3 or 4 cents.

WE NEED SOLAR POWER CARS OR SOMETHING RENEWABLE! DIE OPEC DIE!

24. $3.34 and $3.31 in suburban Detroit
Highest in the area today (Costco and Speedway, respectively). I paid $2.34 yesterday and thought I was ripped off, until I saw that every place around me was $2.54.

So we're officially over three bucks in Motown.

31. Now dropped to $2.67
Would love to know the story behind today's gas price jump to over 3 bucks! It was only for a few hours, but now it's down to a more "normal" price. Maybe someone was playing around with the signs? Hard to tell these days.
