6. Don't hold your breath for not even three Repug Congressmen would vote
to impeach a Repug president under any circumstances ever IMHO, no matter how compelling the evidence strongly suggesting a veritable plethora of high crimes.

9. To what purpose?
Even if they could peel off enough Republican votes to get a majority for impeachment in the House, what makes you think they could repeat and expand that trick to get enough Republican votes to comprise the 2/3 majority required to convict in the Senate? It'll never happen.

It would be an exercise in futility that would result in nothing other than the waste of precious time, energy and resources that could be put to work on efforts to actually accomplish something, like getting more Democrats elected in 2006 and more still, including the White House in 2008.

11. yep, the Republican majority in the House
should have started impeachment proceedings against Bush as soon as the Niger claims were revealed as forgeries.

And the Republican majority in the Senate failed in its duties multiple times regarding investigations of 9/11 and of Iraq intelligence and Halliburton corruption.
