3. I've been away for the past 10 days,

Cape Hatteras, no internet/phone BUT did have TV and I have been having MAJOR DU withdrawal. Surprisingly, not alot of GWB and "ribbon" magnets, even though MANY cars were SUV/Tow Vehicle types. Got back at 9:00 tonight and am now trying to catch up on the news. Can't believe all that's happened this week - Andy (hubby and I were both devastated to hear the news), Rove/Plame, SCOTUS retirement, London bombing and the sulphuric acid accident on I-95 near DC. We actually did glance at CNN, so we did know about O'Conner's retirement and the London bombing, AND of course the weather channel, but didn't turn TV on for anything else.

It's horrible to say, but the first thing that popped into my mind with the bombings was "I wonder how low *'s poll numbers went". The second thought was "OMG, what's coming down the pike they needed a smokescreen for.", and the third was "They're gonna say Osama did it and he's in Iran and get Britain to start that war." All hubby did was just shake his head and roll his eyes at me.

Yes, I'm a DUer to the core...
